The murder mystery series Agatha Christie's Poirot (with David Suchet) has an episode in its sixth season called Murder on the Links, and it's got something of interest for us.
Actress Diane Fletcher plays a damsel who is discovered bound and gagged (while barefoot) in her bed by her maid one morning.
Her story is that she was grabbed while sleeping and bound and gagged right in bed. But Poirot pokes holes in this story, and--through flashbacks--we see what really happened.
She was a willing participant who was actually tied up by her husband as they tried to stage a crime scene. You can see this nasty deed for yourself right here.
