Starting in the late 1990s and going into the early 2000s, there were a lot of (for lack of a better term) "mom and pop" bondage sites on the internet.
These sites were basically small businesses that were run out of a private home, and many of these little guys were very good.
One of these really good sites was Twisted Smile. It featured a group of twenty-something women who approached their bondage sets with pure gutso. These women were fearless, creating detailed photo sets wherever and however they could.
One of my favorites of their sets was this one, taking place at a Ren Fair.
Barefoot and already dressed in a Ren Fair-type costume, she gets tied to a tree and gagged.
The bondage aspect instantly creates an enchanted storyline of a fair maiden who's being held captive.
Here, she's receiving some much-needed help from a woman from the future who's visiting her realm. It's a good thing this time traveller arrived when she did.
Sadly, the Twisted Smile site is no longer with us, but the sheer creativity that they displayed in their work lives on.
