Time for another various and sundry update, starting with Jamie Lee Curtis posing with a nice sweater, and feet.
Tricia Helfer is just relaxing on the sofa.
A barefoot Milla Jovovich is just hanging out at the park.
Meanwhile, Alexandra Daddario and her sister take a barefoot walk by the water.
And Dawn Welles is hanging out by the lagoon (being ship wrecked, where else is she going to go?)

Man Vs. Woman is an entertaining science fiction short that takes place on an alien world that's a failed Earth colony.
Tiffany Shepis and Robert Reavis play the woman and man who are battling each other (along with a robot and a raptor). Tiffany goes barefoot throughout the whole short film.
More science fiction projects should have barefoot people in them. But maybe that's just me. :)
Even without the barefoot goodness, it's still a fun flick. You can see the whole thing below:
Scandal was a drama about a political "fixer" who solved the problems of the rich and powerful. YOLO was the ninth episode of the third season.
Quinn, played by Katie Lowes, is one of those "problems" that needs to be "fixed." She finds herself naked, and taped up--and in such a way that skirts the "no nudity" censorship of the network.
The intruder swaps her tape gag for metal dental clamps so he can remove her teeth.
But the intruder needs to leave her alone for a bit, so he switches back to a tape gag on her after only extracting one tooth.
Once alone, she gets the idea to break a glass that's on the table, in order to use the shards to free herself. This results in a nice barefoot "reach" moment with her bound feet (she escapes in the end).

Brandin Rackley played yet another victim of the killers in The Hillside Strangler.
Like the other victims, she's stripped of all of her clothing and bound and gagged--and she's also blindfolded, as well.
Hers is the longest scene in the film, with her being carried into a bedroom and placed on a bed.
Her bondage scenes are also the most intense.
Sadly, her character also doesn't survive her encounter with these wastes of space. I'm not fond of scenes that the damsel doesn't survive, and only include these here to be complete.
In The Hillside Strangler, a 2004 movie based on a real-life crime case, actress Aimee Brooks shows up at a trim shop in her car.
Unfortunately for her, the two guys who work there turn out to be a pair of serial killers who abduct her. When we next see her, she's trussed up naked in a hogtie on a bed in their house.
The camera slowly pans down the side of her bound body, making this an even better scene than it already is.
And this also shows that there was no body double in use here, this was all the actress.
Scenes like this make me think that actresses should receive "bondage pay," which is above and beyond their regular salary--sort of like how actors get stunt pay if they do a stunt.
Unfortunately, Brooks's character does not survive her encounter with the psychos. The real life killers were later brought to justice.
In her latest book, Ryta the Jungle Girl and the Horrors of Mirkwood Manor, Ryta and her lover Lacey decide to take a day off and explore the marketplace at Kingsland. But unfortunately for them, danger never takes a day off.
Without warning, Ryta and Lacey find themselves being hunted through the streets and back alleys of Kingsland by a group of thugs. At the same time, Iona, Sarina, and the others aboard the Leviathan discover that someone has placed a bomb aboard their submarine.
And all while Ryta and her family are fighting for their very lives, they struggle to find out just who is this mysterious Lady Mirkwood, and why does she want them all dead?

A lovely barefoot woman in a skirt gets captured in this Spanish soap opera.
She gets bound and gagged on a bed for good measure.
There are some nice shots of her bound bare feet.
Although she's caught and tied up by a woman, she's unfortunately sexually assaulted (it doesn't happen onscreen) by a man who stumbles on the scene.
Fortunately, the damsel frees herself of her ropes and makes her escape. You can see this clip right here.
The late Andy Sidaris was a director of cheap, direct-to-video action flicks that weren't very good. His films had bad acting, bare minimum sets (using mostly existing locations) and wonky storylines.
Evenn the bondage scenes in his films were basically 'meh.' Take, for example Savage Beach, which has Dona Speir and Hope Marie Carlton as undercover DEA agents who get captured while on a tropical island.
Neither woman is convincingly tied; they both look like they could easily slip out of their bonds.
And despite them both being tied up on a nice, sandy beach, they're clad in cowboy boots (ick!).
I guess they can't all be winners. Nice tank tops, though!

Children of Dune was the Sy-Fy Channel's adaptation of the sequel novels to Frank Herbert's Dune (Dune Messiah, Children of Dune). We never got a sequel to the David Lynch adaptation because it bombed in theaters.
While the Sy-Fy Channel's adaptation couldn't rise above its cheap budget, it was cool having Children of Dune be turned into a mini-series.
And it was also nice having this scene with Alia in the mini-series.
But in re-watching this over the weekend, I discovered a few more BF scenes here.
Like this 'blink and you'll miss it' scene with Susan Sarandon walking down a corridor with a barefoot servant girl walking by behind her.
And there's another brief moment when Ghanima Atreides (Jessica Brooks) is barefoot while playing chess with her twin brother Leto (James McAvoy).
I've also spent the weekend formatting the latest Ryta book, which has a title: Ryta the Jungle Girl and the Horrors of Mirkwood Manor. Look for it to be published later this week.
It's hard to belileve that Disney's Tangled is twelve years old this year, but it is.
Based on the Rapunzel fairy tale of the girl who is locked away in a tower with extremely long hair (who is voiced by Mandy Moore), Tangled has Rapunzel get recaptured by the villain, Mother Gothel.
She's chained up and gagged, and she's barefoot in this scene because Rapunzel goes BF throuhgout the whole film (which is a nice treat).
A great barefoot bondage scene with plenty of intense struggling from the heroine.
She gets freed, and lives happily ever after, of course. This is still a Disney film at heart.
