Fly Me

In Fly Me, Lyllah Torena plays a stewardess who gets captured by slavers. She's taken aboard a boat and is kept bound hand and foot in a cabin.

She's stripped of her clothing, barefoot, bare-chested, and clad only in panties (which is why I can't show more still pictures of her than I want--we have a a no nudity clause here).

Seeing that her guard has fallen asleep Torena gets up and works her way over to a table, where she smashes a glass to use the shards to cut her bonds.

It's a good thing for her that the guard is s very heavy sleeper. She manages to get free, only to get recaptured. Fly Me is a pretty wild example of an exploitation 'B' movie from the 1970s.

The dance scene from UNCLE

One of my favorite movies in recent years is The Man From UNCLE, directed by Guy Ritchie. Based on the old 1960s TV series, the movie serves as an origin story of sorts, showing how Napoleon Solo (played here by Man of Steel's Henry Cavill) and Illya (Armie Hammer) first meet.

My favorite scene from the film is this one, the "dance" scene. Alicia Vikander (Tomb Raider) starts dancing to Solomon Burke's Cry To Me. She keeps trying to lure Illya into dancing with her, but the gruff KGB agent tries to avoid the decadent behavior as best he can.

It's a hysterically funny scene as they wind up wrestling on the floor. It helps for me that the gorgeous Vikander is barefoot throughout. The film overall is highly recommended as being a fun lark.

Cross Currents

Years ago, in the pre-internet days, I saw this book on a shelf in a store--not a bookstore, but a supermarket--and, based just on the cover image, I instantly added it to my cart (in the literal, real-world sense of that term).

The book itself was very good, an action thriller about the revenge that's spawned when innocent people are killed aboard a boat by pirates. But there were no detailed scenes of women in bathing suits being tied up, as the cover showed. But I still enjoyed the book itself.

Still, it was a provocative image that served its purpose with me--it got me to buy the book.

A test of loyalty

In the first season episode of The Americans, Trust Me, Keri Russell's character, who is an undercover KGB agent, is at home when she hears some strange sounds.

It turns out she's attacked by a guy who tries to kidnap her, but her KGB training in close quarters combat comes in very handy.

However she's still captured and locked inside a room with pictures of her children all over the walls.

She later has her hands tied behind her back--unfortunately we don't see her bonds. Russell is barefoot throughout the majority of this episode.

Suspiria on the roof

I watched the remake of Suspiria recently, and enjoyed it very much. It wasn't a shot by shot remake of the original horror classic, instead veering off into new territory of its own while still retaining the original idea of a dance school in Berlin that's being run by a malevolent coven of witches.

And despite there being a shot of a woman's hands tied with rope in the trailer, there are no bondage scenes at all in the movie (perhaps the scene in the trailer was one that had been cut from the film).

Some of the student dancers go barefoot during their rehearsals, and they all go BF during the performance of their show (the above picture shows them in their onstage costumes).

Suspiria is a very atmospheric (and also extremely gory) horror film that aims high and managed to hit its mark for me. Hard-core horror fans may like it.

Ellen's in for a surprise

Lisa Brenner stars as Ellen Rimbauer in The Dairy Of (you guessed it) Ellen Rimbauer. This is a prequel to the TV miniseries Rose Red, which was written by Stephen King. King did not write Ellen's tale.

This prequel tries to explain some of the creepy shit in Rose Red, and apparently it all starts with kinky sex.

Ellen, asleep in bed, awakens to find her husband tying her wrists and ankles to the bedposts. He's decided that it's time for something a little different.

As you might expect, Ellen's not too sure about this. Which is understandable, seeing how he just sprung this on her while she was sleeping. I mean, no wonder their mansion is haunted, seeing how little communication these two had as a couple. Dr. Phil would have a field day with these two.

Alien at forty

The Alien films are among my all-time favorite movies, and it all began with Alien. Released forty years ago this year, the first film, directed by Ridley Scott, remains a true classic that stands the test of time. It's certainly one of my all-time favorites.

Here's a very well done documentary (it was made several years ago), featuring interviews with the cast and crew, that goes in-depth on how they made this great film.

What's up, Tiger Lily?

This was a scan that I did for my original website many moons ago. It's a piece of artwork by Greg Hildebrandt. It depicts Tiger Lily, from Peter Pan, as a bound captive of the pirates who were led by Captain Hook.

It goes without saying that this is my favorite version of Tiger Lily. Aside from her being BF, I also preferred her being older, about early twenties, and her scant outfit seemed more practical--but then, that's just me. :)

This version of Peter Pan that was illustrated by Hildebrant was a really handsome edition of the classic story when it first came out in 1987, and copies of it are still available today.

Hannah's in trouble again

Hannah Tointon finds herself in big trouble in this clip from an episode of Hollyoaks, a long running British soap.

She's bound hand and (bare)foot and gagged in a cargo container.

Her captor comes along and gives her some water before leaving again.

Hannah uses the solitude to try and escape her bonds...but to no avail.

Her captor returns to take Hannah for a little car ride, still tied and gagged. You can download the clip right here.

The Girl In The Spider's Web

I saw The Girl In The Spider's Web, the latest installment of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo series, and thought it was very good. Lisbeth is played by Claire Foy this time out.

There is a bondage scene, as when Lisbeth is captured by the bad guys and has her hands tied behind her.

Although Noomi Rapace will always be the "true" Lisbeth for me, I thought Foy was very good in this part.

Spider's Web places Lisbeth in a giant rubber vacuum bag, which gets all of the air sucked out.

Not a very comfy situation for Lisbeth, but then, that's supposed to be the point.

I don't believe it was Foy inside the bag in these scenes, but a stunt double.

Thankfully, Lisbeth breaks free. And it appears that she was nude inside the bag. I'm not a big fan of this type of bondage, but to each his own.

Spider's Web was en enjoyable lark that's much more an action film than a mystery. It's nice to see Lisbeth back in action against a truly formidable villain. I hope they make more of these with Foy in the lead role.

Russian Doll

Russian Doll is a fantastic new series on Netflix that stars Natasha Lyonne as a woman celebrating her thirty-sixth birthday--only to wind up getting caught in a weird time loop where she's repeatedly killed and then relives the same birthday party all over again.

Yeah, it's basically Groundhog Day, but Russian Doll is also just as sidesplittingly funny as the Bill Murray movie. And it also has a nice, Twin Peaks vibe in how it tries to explain what's happening to Lyonne's character (the ending is bonkers in a good way that David Lynch might approve of). Lyonne's Nadia is a chain-smoking, drink-loving party girl with a potty mouth who's extremely sympathetic.

I wasn't feeling well this past weekend, and so I thought I'd give this a shot--I wound up binge-watching the whole show in one day, and forgot about being sick in the process. It was that much fun. If you're looking for something very funny, raunchy, and weird, then give Russian Doll a shot.

A Worthy Adversary

A caught snooper impresses her captors so much that they've had to take special measures to secure her for inspection by the boss in my latest Poser picture. You can see the start of the interrogation right here.

Rambo to the rescue

The Rambo movie that Sylvester Stallone released back in 2008 was a big surprise for me. I was expecting more of the silliness of the original 1980s Rambo films, which had him taking on entire armies single-handedly and winning.

Julie Benz stars as one of a group of missionaries who have to be rescued by Rambo when she and her brethren are taken captive by a warlord.

But Rambo goes in with a team of mercenaries that help him, making this version more realistic (but still very exciting).

Benz goes barefoot for the better part of the film, having her shoes removed by the bad guys (this happens off screen).

Eleven years later, the 2008 Rambo still holds up as a thrilling adventure, and Julie Benz's presence here is just the icing on the cake.

Three Sixty

There's a short film on YouTube called Three Sixty that stars Ella Bowman as a young woman who gets kidnapped by a couple of guys. But she starts playing mind games with them, leading one to wonder who's really in charge, here. I love these cat and mouse stories where it's just as much a battle of wills as anything else.

As the screen cap I took above shows, Ms. Bowman is barefoot, as well as tied up, for all of the film's running time. It's pretty good. Check it out.

I Spy She Spies

Kristen Miller was one of the investigators on the TV series She Spies. In the first season episode, While You Were Out, she's taken prisoner by some bad guys.

She's presented, hands tied behind her back and gagged, to her comrade, who's working undercover with the baddies.

What follows is a fun scene where Miller keeps screaming every so often during the conversation she has with her friend--in order to make the baddies think she's being tortured for information. You don't see it in this clip, but I've seen the entire episode, and Miller is barefoot throughout this scene. She goes barefoot through the better part of the episode, IIRC.

Julie Adams

We lost Julie Adams a few days ago. The lead actress of Creature From The Black Lagoon passed away at the age of 93. RIP.

Julie went barefoot for a good portion of 'Creature'. Here we see her feet almost get tickled by the Creech while she's swimming.

And Julie goes barefoot throughout the climax, when she's abducted by the love-struck Creature. When I first saw this movie when I was a little boy I actually felt sorry for the creature. But growing up in a house on a lake, watching 'Creature' back then as a kid made me afraid to go swimming for a while.

So what happens next?

An insurance investigator is working undercover at a pool party at a swanky mansion. She's searching for a stolen sculpture that's priceless, but finds far more than she bargains for in my latest Poser picture. You can see the entrapment happening right here.

No Venom for Venom

I finally saw Venom. I had to admit that I had my doubts that this was going to work, even after I heard that it made almost a billion dollars at the box office. I wasn't sure the Venom character could stand on his own without Spider-Man.

But I was pleased to see that I was wrong. Venom was a great deal of fun. Tom Hardy was great as Eddie Brock. I'm tempted to say that he was also good as Venom, but he was buried under so much CGI (assuming he was even there) whenever Venom was on screen. And having Michelle Williams as his girlfriend was a great idea; she really classed up the proceeding with her presence.

I'm looking forward to the sequel, especially since they hinted at who Venom will be facing next time in a scene during the credits sequence, as well as the great actor who'll be playing him. If the Venom films keep getting better with each installment, who needs Spider-Man?

Going south

Margarita Magana stars in this Mexican soap called La Verdad Oculta. Margarita winds up hog-tied on the floor of a bedroom.

She does a lot of wiggling.

She manages to work her gag off and call for help.

Yay! It worked. She's rescued. The file is pretty small (I did not clip this), but the scene is very nice. You can see the excitement right here.
