I really wasn't looking forward to seeing the remake of Susipira, the 1977 horror movie directed by the Italian maestro of film fear, Dario Argento. But when I saw this first trailer, I was intrigued.
For one thing, there's this shot of Dakota Johnson (daughter of Don) dancing in her bare feet. She plays a student at a prestigious academy.
And then there's this shot, featuring a woman (Dakota Johnson?) tied to a table. So there's definitely scenes of barefooted women and bondage in this, but do we have barefoot bondage scenes? Hmm. Stuff to ponder until this comes out in the fall. :)
Personally always loved that look the dancer's got on, those baggier 80's style sweatpants with the elastic around the ankles so they bunch up a little, kind of like harem girl pants. Very sexy in a casual, comfy way....obv tight yoga style pants are more in style now but I wish the older look got some love!

I always liked the look Lara had at home in the first Tomb Raider film, too.
ReplyDeleteI also preferred the sweatpants with the elastic bands on the ankles. They kept the foot free from the pant leg. It's almost like this style emphasized the foot.
