I always suspected that Brie Larson was a barefooter. A barefooter is someone who likes to go barefoot in their everyday life, as well enjoy seeing other people be barefoot.
Brie has her own channel on YouTube, and more often than not she's usually barefoot in the videos that she does.
Here's one of her BF videos. Hopefully she'll have another barefoot scene in the Captain Marvel sequel.
