The Gendarme

This clip is from a movie called The Gendarme and the Creatures from Outer Space (1979).

I haven't seen the whole movie, just this clip, which matches the "summery" mood I'm always looking for during these dog days of summer.

This bikini-clad and barefoot woman (actress unknown) gets handcuffed by a cop. She's somehow mistaken for an alien (???) and is arrested right on the beach by the cop.

Lots of wiggling by a bikini-clad babe. A perfect "summery" clip. You can find this scene right here.

Cloud Atlas

When I first saw Cloud Atlas, my original opinion was that it was just "yeah, it's ok."

But, over the years, I guess the movie grew on me, because I enjoy it very much, now.

If nothing else, it's got some very nice barefoot bondage scenes, with actress Doona Bae.

Bae plays a clone in a futuristic Korea, which treats all clones as second class citizens.

She's barefoot through the majority of her scenes.

Her story is ultimately an uplifting one, as later scenes in the movie--which take place centuries later--show how much of an influence she was.

Happy Death Day

Happy Death Day is a horror movie version of of Groundhog Day, the famous Bill Murray movie where he relives the same day over and over. Lead actress Jessica Rothe is a joy to watch as she relives the same miserable day on repeat where she gets hunted down and killed by a psycho in a mask.

What makes this film even more pleasant for me is there are numerous scenes where Jessica goes barefoot.

There's even one scene where she literally throws her shoes away and walks barefoot through the campus grounds.

The movie is extremely funny as well as being a good slasher mystery.

And there's even a scene where Jessica gets handcuffed by a cop (she's not BF here, though).

She willingly allows herself to be arrested, thinking she'll be in a nice, safe jail cell. Of course, things don't work out that way. I liked this so much that I highly recommend it. Avoid the sequel, though. It's nowhere as good as the first film, and lacks any BF scenes.

Stranded in the Ocean

Here's a nice video that was just recently uploaded on the Tube of U.

A nice young woman finds herself handcuffed, and ankle-cuffed while on a surf board in the middle of the ocean.

And she's barefoot, as well!

She's clearly an escape artist, and I really appreciate the dramatic effect that she tries to create in this great video, which you can see below:

Terminator: Genisys

In Terminator: Genisys, Emilia Clarke, who's best known for playing Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones, plays Sarah Connor, the mother of the Resistance. Sarah was originally played by Linda Hamilton in the first two Terminator movies and Terminator: Dark Fate.

In this scene, Sarah's been captured by the police after traveling through time with John Connor (played here by Jai Courtney). Since you have to travel through time in the nude (at least in the Terminator films) Sarah and John are given hospital clothes to wear when they are captured.

At first they are handcuffed with their wrists behind their backs, and you can clearly see that Sarah is barefoot throughout this scene. After staging a fight, Sarah and John are each cuffed with one wrists to the edge of their beds. But being cuffed this way enables them to escape.

Later, Sarah is cuffed with her wrists to a table in a police interrogation room, fully dressed this time. She's freed by another character. As much as I like Emilia, I wasn't crazy about this flick. Lena Headey, Emilia's co-star on Game Of Thrones, starred as Sarah Connor in the much better TV series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Backtrack (AKA Catchfire)

Back in 1990, a year before she starred in The Silence of the Lambs, Jodie Foster appeared in Catchfire, a movie about a witness to a mob hit (Foster) being hunted by a mob hit man, played by Dennis Hopper, who also directed.

There was a mild barefoot bondage scene in the film, where a BF Foster is awakened from a sound sleep in bed by Hopper.

Hopper then proceeds to cuff Foster's wrists together in front of her.

Foster isn't bound any further than the handcuffs, though.

Foster and Hopper clashed while on the set, with Foster--not liking how things were going during a shower scene--calling "cut" to the crew at one point. Hopper made it clear to her that he was the director, and only he could call "cut."

The film was taken from Hopper and recut. Hopper disowned Catchfire. A director's cut, called Backtrack, was later released, and this is the version I got these vidcaps from. Hopper's director's cut of Backtrack should not be confused with the 2014 Backtrack (also known as Nazi Vengeance), which has a much better BF bondage scene (and there's even a THIRD film called Backtrack, released in 2015).

While Foster is never gagged, she is later hand-gagged in a nice, stylishly shot moment.

P2

P2, a thriller about a woman executive (Rachel Nichols) getting trapped in a parking garage with a psycho who works as a security guard (Wes Bentley), has become another Christmas movie in the tradition of Diehard.

It takes place during the Holiday Season, like Diehard. But instead of dodging a group of terrorists, Angela (Nichols) jut has to stay one step ahead of Thomas (Bently).

There's brief bondage, with Angela gettng her wrists cuffed behind her back at one point.

But P2 is worthwhile because Nichols loses her shoes and goes barefoot throughout the better part of the film's running time.

So it's a great BF thriller. And since it takes place on Christmas Eve, you can watch it along with Diehard, or Batman Returns. P2 was the direct inspiration for I Love You, a 2023 Indian Hindi-language film.

Dangerous Animals Pt1

I've always been more of a fan of vidcaps, or screen captures, of scenes from movies and TV shows.

I already put up some caps, along with a clip, from the movie Dangerous Animals. But I haven't seen the entire movie at that point.

Now I have seen DA (and it's OK, if predictable), and I was able to get some very nice vidcaps from the film.

Hassie Harrison and Ella Newton are the captured prey of a serial killer (played by Jai Courtney) who uses sharks to kill his victims.

Both women are barefoot for the better part of the film, and they're bound, as well. The killer has them chained to their bunks in the decks below his boat.

And, as you can see, there are plenty of very nice shots, here.

And there's more to come.

Midnight

Midnight is a low budget film about a satanic cult that kidnaps women. One of them (Maura Minteer) is wearing a blue dress and is barefoot in her backyard.

When she goes to catch a fallen frisbee, she encounters members of the satanic cult (don't you hate it when that happens?).

The scene that follows is pretty extensive.

She gets tied up and gagged on camera. Her wrists are handcuffed. The soles of her feet seem to always be pointed in the direction of the camera.

Midnight was made by some of the crew that worked with George Romero (Night of the Living Dead) on his films.

It was released on DVD--which was where I got these screen caps from for my original Knotbusters site way back when.

I haven't seen this movie since I 'capped it for the site. I should track it down again.
