I caught this video on YouTube. It's basically an ad for the MagBound, which is a timer for self bondage. Note: I'm not endorsing this. I'm just presenting it as a 'hey, look at this' sort of thing.
The video has a young woman showing it off, and in one of the scenes, she's very nicely barefoot. This shot made it worth it for me (and is mainly why I brought it up here).
Someone using this will indeed be truly bound, until the timer releases them. It's better demonstrated in the video, which you can see below:
