Big Bird Cage Pt 1

The Big Bird Cage was one of many "Women In Prison" flicks that were churned out in the 1970s.

I always liked the opening scene when lead actress Anitra Ford is kidnapped by a terrorist (played by the late, great Sid Haig). She's just slung over his shoulder, clad in a red dress and barefoot. I still wonder if she attended this party in her bare feet.

The bondage begins at the women's prison, where actress Karen McKevic gets chained to her cot by one foot.

A nice, if brief, scene.

Later, actress Marissa Delgado gets tied up while on her cot.

She plays a snitch who keeps ratting out her fellow prisoners to the guards every chance she gets.

And so when they make their big escape, they make sure the snitch is gagged--literally. More to come.
