Remember the CSI shows? Crime techs solve crimes without cops! Oh, yeah! There was a version of the venerable franchise that took place in New York City--called CSI: NY, natch--and it starred the gorgeous Melina Kanakaredes as Stella Bonasera.
In the second season episode All Access (number 21) Stella gets tied up in her own apartment by her boyfriend.
After tying her up--but not gagging her--the boyfriend then places Stella in her own bath tub.
Stella had her shoes removed and is barefoot throughout this sequence.
Luckily, Stella reaches for a razor blade and uses it to cut herself free. Justice is brought down on the boyfriend, and Tinder had nothing to do with anything because it hadn't been invented yet. I like how Stella puts up a good fight.
The bird's eye shot in the last four caps is my favorite of this scene. Seeing these 'caps again makes me wonder if CSI will ever be revived, maybe in the heartland, like CSI: Des Moines.
