Happy Batman Day to all out there. We celebrate this time with vidcaps from Batman: The Animated Series, which was the best incarnation of the Dark Knight on TV. The above picture shows Poison Ivy being bested by Batman in the second season episode "Almost Got 'im!" Ivy goes barefoot throughout this Halloween sequence.
The next few pictures are from the second season episode "Day of the Samurai", where Bruce Wayne/Batman has to travel to Japan to save a young kidnapped woman.
The series use of dark colors gives it a wonderfully unique look. And the kidnap victim is barefoot throughout.
Of course Batman saves her (he's Batman, after all). But it was cool having the Dark Knight square off against a real ninja.
The next two are from a personal favorite of mine, "Harley and Ivy," where the two gals team up after the Joker throws Harley out.
Batman actually interrupts the girls' night home, where they're not wearing much clothing. I kind of wished he hadn't done this.
"Harley and Ivy" is also from the second season of Batman: The Animated Series. That second season was really very nice. :)
