The Boston Strangler

The Boston Strangler is a 1968 film that was based on the real life case of the Boston Strangler, who terrifed that city in the 1960s.

The Strangler was captured and sent to prison for life. But there's a been a controversy in recent years regarding the man who was jailed.

It turns out that the man who was imprisoned for these crimes may not have been the actual killer after all.

The true-crime aspects behind this case are fascinating, thanks to recent documentaries and a remake of this movie that includes the new information.

But the '68 version has this scene, with actress Sally Kellerman playing a victim of the strangler, who broke into her home.

Thankfully, Kellerman plays a real-life woman who managed to escape from the killer.

While the identity of the killer has been called into question in recent years, the '68 Boston Strangler is still a fantastic film, overall. It's rich with plenty of 'edge of your seat' suspense and some great acting.
