The Stargirl TV series, unfortunately canceled way too soon by MAX, was a fun superhero affair with a teen girl becoming the new Stargirl.
Amy Smart, seen here with her bare feet up on the table, eating ice cream with her son and watching TV, played Stargirl's mother--she was Stargirl's stepmother, if I recall correctly (it's been a while since I've seen this).
