Slaughter Pt1

Slaughter is another horror movie that was a part of that whole After Dark Horror Fest (aka 8 Films To Die For). It was released in 2009 as a part of that program.

Amy Shiels stars as Faith, a young woman who moves in with her friend, who lives on a pig farm. And then everything goes straight to hell.

At the very beginning of the film, during the opening credits, we see a barefoot Faith getting tied up, starting with her hands.

Then she's dragged down to a dock, where her feet are bound together at the ankles.

And then her bound ankles are then tied to a concrete block. And she's then dumped into the water.

This opening scene is very annoying, because the credits keep appearing over everything, and it gets blurry every now and then (perhaps to show the fuzzy POV of the character). But there's much more--and better--things to come. Stay tuned.
