Because the Ghost Rider arrives to really mess up the cult leader's day. I'm glad the damsel is saved, but booking a ritual ceremonial tree and surrounding land must have set that cult back a pretty penny, and they can't get that deposit money back. Aaaaiiieee, indeed!
