Bound on youTube

There's a really good short film on youtube called, simply, Bound. It's an original thriller about a young woman who becomes the captive of another, crazy woman.

It's very suspenseful...a real edge of your seat thriller, with a satisfying ending. Plus there's barefoot bondage, which is always a plus for me. Great stuff overall. You can watch it right here.

Paranoia on youtube!

Carroll Baker stars as a rich woman who's taken hostage in her own home in the 1970 film Paranoia. But is she really paranoid when she's actually suffering through a home invasion? Hmm.

The highlight of this movie for me was the scene where her tormentors tied her to her bed while entertaining visitors, and Carroll, hoping to get the visitors' attention, knocks over a chair with her bound bare feet.

You can see the scene right here.

The Babadook

I saw The Babadook this past weekend, and was pleasantly surprised at how good it is. The movie stars Essie Davis, who's probably best known for her lead role on Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries.

She stars here as a widowed mother who's taking care of a rambunctious little boy who keeps insisting that the monster that visits him in his room at night is real. I wasn't expecting any bondage scenes with Davis when I sat down to watch it, but here it is, in the climax of the film.

So here's another reason for "those of us" to watch this film, aside from the fact that it's very good overall.

White Buttons

There's a short film over on Vimeo. It's a thriller called White Buttons. It's about a woman having been kidnapped by another woman, and it's very well made. You can take a look at it right here.

And have a great weekend!

The new Star Wars trailer

This is the all-new teaser trailer for the upcoming Star Wars film, released today. That is, the trailer's been released today, not the movie. It's still coming out in this December. But holy Bantha droppings, I so want to see this movie NOW! Seriously, this is looking like it's going to be very good.

A gagged trick

I was never a big fan of these "gag only" stunts, but this is pretty cool. She does the entire trick with her mouth tape gagged and manages to incorporate the gag into the act. This is from the BBC series Killer Magic. You can find this on youtube. But you can watch it right here. Just click on the image above.

My DA page has moved

I lost the password to my old DA page. And rather than wait until I was inevitably locked out of my account without any way to control it, I decided to shut it down and start up a new DA account under the name Knotbuster2 (pretty original thinking on my part, uh?).

You can see the new DA account right here.

Playing taped-gagged charades

What if you wanted to play charades but wanted to make sure nobody blurts anything out? Well, this is one way to ensure nobody says anything. From the Australian version of Big Brother comes this unique take on charades. They're just gagged, no tying up.

If I done the link right, it should take you to right before the scene. You can see it right here.

The final Avengers 2 trailer! Honest!

This is reportedly the FINAL trailer for the Avengers sequel. Remember the good old days when they would release just one, maybe two trailers at most? This opens on May 1, 2015, and I'm looking forward to it. I enjoyed the first Avengers film, as well as all the other Marvel superhero movies that came before and since.

But I have to say that my all-time favorite of these is Captain America: The Winter Soldier. ("On your left!") I really LOVED that movie because it had a little bit of everything: nail-biting suspense, spy-movie paranoia, and plenty of Scarlett Johansson.

She's back in Avengers 2, and I'm looking forward to seeing her, as well as her comrades, back in action again.

The Star Wars Prequels mashed together

Looking for something to watch this Easter weekend? You might want to check this out. This guy recut the Star Wars prequels--all three films--into one mega movie that's three and a half hours long. And yes, Jar Jar is still in it, but not as much.

While the first two weren't that great, I actually enjoyed Revenge of the Sith, the third prequel film, because I thought it felt closer in spirit to the original Star Wars series. We started to see elements of the first trilogy pop up in Sith, which I really liked. I'm also looking forward to the new Star Wars film that's coming out later this year.

Enjoy watching this reedited version--be sure to make some popcorn for yourself--and I hope you have a Happy Holiday!
