Memories of Murder

Staying in South Korea for the last update in the month of March, we have Memories of Murder, released back in 2003.

Based on a real-life serial killer case that happened in South Korea, Memories of Murder features a barefoot hogtie scene.

In this scene, the latest victim (actress unknown) of the killer is being carried into the woods while she's hogtied and gagged. She's being casually carried as if she were a bag.

The killer then places her on the ground.

The original case that this film is based on is considered the first publicly acknowledged serial killer in South Korea.

Memories of Murder is directed by Bong Joon-ho, who also directed The Host, Snowpiercer, Okja, and Parasite, with the latter film winning the Best Picture Oscar.

Project Wolf Hunting

In Project Wolf Hunting (Neukdaesanyang), Ji-hye Ahn plays a guard who's watching over a pair of women prisoners aboard a freighter that's headed to South Korea (the film is from that country).

The two women prisoners are chained up in a room aboard the ship.

But things change when they gain the upper hand and chain up Ji-hye Ahn.

Her foot wear is removed, leaving her barefoot, and she's gagged with her own balled-up socks.

I haven't seen this film beyond the clip that's done by Jakob 88, but, based on what I've seen I would really like to watch the whole thing. You can see the clip right here.

Doomed Sleeper

Rhonda heard all of the spooky tales about people being kidnapped and forced to ride aboard the sleeper ships that sailed to the far points of the solar system, but she paid them no mind as she worked as a cleaner aboard these ships--until the day she became a Doomed Sleeper! Find out what happened in my latest Poser picture right here.

Note: the picture I used here is from 28 Weeks Later.

The War In Space

Toho studios, which produced the Godzilla films, saw how well the original Star Wars did at the box office in 1977, and so they made their own outer space war movie.

The result is The War In Space (another way of saying Star Wars, I suppose), which was released in 1977. It's a very goofy, but enormously fun, flick.

At one point, the film's lead actress, Yūko Asano, gets captured by the bad guys.

She's paraded around the bad guy's base while barefoot, and clad in a sleek black outfit that exposes her legs and arms.

While Yūko's feet are never tied, there are some very nice BF shots of her walking around, regardless.

She normally wears a regular uniformed spacesuit, but her captors had her dressed in this outfit.

But no worries, Yūko is rescued. All's well at the end of the war in space.

Bloody Mama

Pamela Dunlap stars in Bloody Mama as a young woman who runs afoul of a murderous mother and her grown boys.

Having been captured while out for a swim, Dunlap is later seen bound and gagged while tied down to a bed in the outlaws' hideout.

Dunlap's still barefoot and clad in the black bathing suit she wore when she was captured.

And there's a nice camera pan down her bound body as Mama, played by Shelly Winters, inspects Dunlap's bonds while talking to one of her sons.

This was one of my all-time favorite BF bondage scenes when I first saw this movie on TV as a kid back in the late 70s. It caught me completely by surprise, and I wouldn't see it again until about a decade later, when I was able to get it on video.

Bloody Mama was based on the real-life exploits of Kate "Ma" Barker, who was accused of being the leader of a criminal gang that consisted of her adult sons. But there's now some doubt as to whether Ma Barker was truly the criminal mastermind that she was made out to be in the media of the 1930s.

Bloody Mama was directed by B-Movie king Roger Corman, who considers it one of his favorite films. It had a stacked cast of then-up and coming actors, like Robert De Niro, Bruce Dern, Don Stroud, Robert Walden, and Alex Nicol.

Sleepwalking

I've discovered a new Lindsey Sterling video--well, it's not actually brand new; it's new because it's a recent find for me.

Lindsey is the well-known violinist who has done very well for herself on the tube of U.

Here she goes barefoot throughout her dream-like video, Sleepwalking. You can see the video down below. Pleasant dreams.

Winnie the Pooh

Remember Winnie the Pooh? Well, there's a really fucked up film version of it that's out right now. Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is the result of the WTP copyright having fallen into the public domain. Anybody can now make a Winnie the Pooh project, as these inspired madmen and madwomen just did.

First off, Natasha Tosini is relaxing in a hottub when she gets grabbed by Winnie the Pooh and Tigger (???), who have somehow become gangsters.

When she wakes up, she's lying facedown on the ground and gagged.

She's also hogtied, while still barefoot and clad only in her bikini.

And if that wasn't enough, she's about to be run over by a muscle car that's being driven by Winnie. She doesn't survive. Seriously, WTF Winnie?! What happened since I last saw you back when I was a very small child? Dude, you wanna talk about it?

Amber Doig-Thorne later gets tied up by Winnie and his Posse. She's fully dressed (darn it), but she survives her captivity.

There's one more, unknown actress who is discovered trussed up. This is worth it for me just because of the one BF hogtie scene, which you can see in Jakob 88's clip right here.

Island of Lost Souls (part 2)

Barbara Carrera stars in The Island of Dr. Moreau, the first remake of Island of Lost Souls that was released in 1977.

Carrera stars as this film's version of "Panther Girl." And while she doesn't go barefoot all of the time, she does go BF in a few key scenes.

When Dr. Moreau and his guests get dressed up for dinner, Carrera--while putting on a swanky dress--still goes barefoot.

And director Don Taylor seems to go out of his way to show that she's barefoot in these scenes, as well. My favorite movie out of the three remains the original Island of Lost Souls, because Kathleen Burke, as the original Panther Girl, goes barefoot throughout the whole film. Plus, on a non-BF note, Charles Laughton's performance is the best one out of the three films.

Island of Lost Souls (part 1)

Kathleen Burke stars in the 1932 version of The Island of Lost Souls as the Panther Woman.

She's the result of an experiment by Dr. Moreau, played by Charles Laughton in a great, creepy performance.

And Burke goes barefoot throughout the film--possibly because of her primal nature.

The original version is a very old flick--91 years old as of this writing--and if that's too creaky for you, it's been remade twice.

In 1996, it was remade as The Island of Dr. Moreau, featuring Fairuza Balk as this film's version of "Panther Girl."

Balk had several scenes where she went barefoot, such as this one where the film's hero walks in on her little dance.

But unlike Burke, who went barefoot throughout Island of Lost Souls, Balk only has a few scenes here and there where she went BF.

Darkness: Those Who Kill

Darkness: Those Who Kill is a Scandinavian crime drama that came out back in 2019.

And, like most crime dramas, there's an episode or more where the crime solving team races to save a victim who's been captured by a serial killer.

This scene is from the seventh episode of the first season, where the victim is bound and gagged by the villain in a yellow dress and is barefoot.

The clip, from Jakob 88, is very well edited, making this scene one of the good ones for me. You can see it right here.
