A pair of waiters are the ones left waiting when a band of thieves steal their uniforms and leave them bound and gagged in my latest Poser Picture. You can see it right here.

The Ten Best Movies of 2019

Here's a list of the top ten movies that I enjoyed in 2019. In no particular order.

Captain Marvel -- loads of fun, led by a great actress (Brie Larson) in the starring role. BF Scenes? Yes. BF Bondage Scenes? Yes.

Midsommar -- Unnerving horror movie that manages to get under your skin and wiggle around under there. Who knew that scenes set in bright sunlight could be so scary? BF Scenes? No. BF Bondage Scenes? No.

Godzilla King of the Monsters -- an enjoyable, and epic monster movie that gave me fond memories of the Godzilla films of old. BF Scenes? No. BF Bondage Scenes? No.

The Irishman -- Martin Scorsese's masterpiece dealing with labor unions and the mob in the 20th Century. Thanks, Netflix, for making this possible. BF Scenes? No. BF Bondage Scenes? No.

In The Shadow of the Moon -- a fantastic and gripping SF story that grabs you by the lapels from the beginning and never lets go. If you love the Terminator films, give this a shot. (on Netflix) BF Scenes? No. BF Bondage Scenes? No.

Shazam -- a comedic superhero film that still doesn't shy away from really cool moments. It manages to have a lot of heart without being sappy. BF Scenes? No. BF Bondage Scenes? No.

The Areonaunts -- Felicity Jones shines in this period piece about a balloonist and a meteorologist attempting to explore the skies. (on Amazon Prime) BF Scenes? No. BF Bondage Scenes? No.

Crawl -- an extremely enjoyable thriller featuring a barefoot woman dodging alligators during a hurricane. BF Scenes? Yes, throughout the whole film. BF Bondage Scenes? No.

Us-- Director Jordan Peele returns with another completely original horror film that's also scary as hell. It's a great, 'edge of your seat' thriller with plenty of twists. BF Scenes? Yes. BF Bondage Scenes? Yes.

Greta -- Director Neil Jordan shows he's still got it with this thriller about a young woman who's dealing with an unlikely stalker. BF Scenes? Yes. BF Bondage Scenes? Oh, hell yeah.

Satanic Panic -- a wonderfully whacky horror film about a pizza delivery girl trying to avoid being the offering at a satanic cult's next meeting. BF Scenes? Yes. BF Bondage Scenes? Oh, hell yeah.

Top Ten TV Shows of 2019

In no particular order, here are my favorite TV shows from the past year:

The Witcher (Netflix) -- a fun, enjoyable blast of high fantasy with a solid performance from Henry Cavill (Man of Steel), who's very good as the titular star.

Russian Doll (Netflix) -- a hysterically funny comedy about a woman (Natasha Lyonne, who's great) reliving the same day over and over with side-splitting consequences.

The Boys (Amazon Prime) -- fantastic adaptation of the graphic novel series about superheroes who are even more dangerous than the threats they supposedly protect us from. Karl Urban is magnificent in this.

Mindhunters (Netflix) -- the second season of this serial killer series is even better than the first. This shows that office politics (as well as regular politics) can be just as intriguing as the hunt for the killers.

Good Omens (Amazon Prime) -- a really charming series about the unlikely friendship between an angel and a demon, and how they work together to help people. A great cast, working from Neil Gaiman's book.

The Man in the High Castle (Amazon Prime) -- the fourth and final season of this dark SF series proved to be very satisfying. This marvelous show had such a nightmarish theme that, as sad as I am to see it go, I'm also glad to bid farewell to its darker aspects, too.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (Netflix) -- while I liked the movie well enough, I thought this prequel series was extraordinary. The attention to detail in all aspects of the production, the sheer imagination on display here, is simply amazing.

Unbelievable (Netflix) -- taking the standard police procedural and turning it into a deeply absorbing (and touching) series about a woman who's been victimized twice--first, by her rapist, and then by everyone around her--makes this a searing, but riveting watch.

Star Trek: Discovery: Season Two (CBS All Access)-- the second season is far better than the first, thanks to Anson Mount's great performance as Captain Pike. Bring on the Captain Pike series!

The Mandalorian (Disney Plus) -- Star Wars thrives on the small screen in this action-packed adventure featuring one of the mysterious, armor-clad warriors as its main star. It's basically Lone Wolf and Cub in outer space, and it works very well.

The Replacement

In the TV series Inside No. 9, Aimee-Ffion Edwards stars as a young woman who's house sitting for a couple in England.

The episode is called "The Harrowing" and Miss Edwards is actually dealing with a cult who want to make her the newest vessel for a demon.

That's why she winds up being barefoot and stripped down to her underwear and tied to a chair in a bedroom.

You might want to brace yourself for the shot of the creepy old guy in a diaper (ugh!), but Miss Edwards is as cute as a button in bondage here. To see the scene go right here.

Stay classy, Jonny

This is from the fourth issue of the Jonny Quest comic book, which was published by Comico back in the 1980s. I always liked this cover, for the obvious reason--a beautiful barefoot woman in a bikini, what's not to love?

But I also like how much of a gentleman Jonny is showing himself to be by offering this damsel in distress a helping hand in her time of need. I actually had this entire comic series (I loved the original TV series when I was a kid), but sold it off a few years back.

My spy, Kelly, decides it's time for a skiing vacation, but the spies who abduct and tie her up have other plans for her! Find out what they are in my latest Poser picture, which you can see right here.

Mayhem

In Mayhem, a rage virus spreads through an office building, infecting everybody within. The building, along with everybody inside, is locked up and quarantined.

Samara Weaving finds herself locked inside the building, and infected, so she just kicks off her shoes and fights back.

And she doesn't hold back.

Mayhem is a fun film within the zombie genre (it's a zombie film in the same way that 28 Days Later is a zombie movie).

Weaving's brief time here barefoot (she gets a new pair of shoes) is appreciated.

A Quiet Place Part Two

A short, thirty second teaser has been released for A Quiet Place: Part Two. I loved the original A Quiet Place because it was a very well-done horror thriller. It also had its entire cast go barefoot throughout the movie--so they could be as quiet as possible to avoid being killed by creatures with super sensitive hearing.

While I was happy to hear that a sequel was being made, the obvious question for me was: will the cast continue going barefoot in the new film?

According to the teaser, they do--at least in this scene. Emily Blunt even wears a bandage on her foot from the injury she suffered when stepping on a nail in the first film.

A full trailer will be released on New Year's Day, with the movie coming out in March. Really looking forward to seeing this.

Soko 5113

Michaela May stars as the wife of a cop in the German police series SOKO 5113.

Here, she's taken hostage in her own home (with her kid watching from his crib!) by a baddie who hogties her on the bed.

As if that's not enough, he tape-gags her for good measure. One of my favorite BF bondage scenes.

This is from the episode "Alles Vertrauenssache" (6.02) aka "It's All a Matter of Trust," which first aired way back in 1987. You can see the clip right here.

The Glades

In the TV series, The Glades, Natalia Cigliuti plays a detective who gets caught with her guard down while swimming by a serial killer.

Barefoot, and clad in a one piece swimsuit (with a towel wrapped around her waist) Natalia gets chloroformed.

When she wakes up, the killer has her tied to a lounge chair.

Her hands are tied separately to the chair's arm, while her feet are tied together at the ankles. She's not gagged.

The killer tries to strangle her, but thankfully she's saved by the hero. This is from the second season episode "Old Ghosts" (2-02). A nice BF bondage scene.

Another One With Leslie

My snoop Leslie returns in another adventure, where she's caught snooping around a castle and gets tied up. And now she really wishes that she had worn pants. Find out the horrid goings-on in my latest Poser picture right here.

An Indonesian Heroine

Found this on You Tube. It's a scene--a couple of scenes, actually--from an Indonesian TV show that has a barefoot heroine bound and gagged by the bad guys. Hijinks ensue.

The new Ryta book

I've finished the first draft of the latest Ryta book, and will begin the second draft (editing and re-writing) very soon (like right now). I plan to have this newest book in the Ryta saga out just before Christmas. Keep it here for the latest news.

You can get the very first Ryta adventure, the one that begins the whole saga, right here.

Fringe "August"

Jennifer Missoni stars in "August," a second season episode of the TV series Fringe.

Jennifer plays a woman who's been kidnapped by one of the bald men who're known on the show as the Observers.

She's left bound and gagged in a motel room while her abductor goes out.

She manages to escape, only to be recaptured when the Observer returns and ties her up again.

Even though she's not barefoot, this episode always resonated with me because the Observer fell in love with her. He actually kept her bound like this because he was "protecting" her.

Fringe was a great SF series in its own right, I put it in the same league as the X-Files (a show which Fringe had been accused of ripping off). Give it a shot.
